WEAC member Andrea Kramer of La Crosse is named a Top Notch Teacher

WEAC member Andrea Kramer, who teaches English and the AVID college preparation program at Logan High School in La Crosse, is this month’s Top Notch Teacher, presented by WKBT TV in La Crosse. As stated in the WKBT report:

Kramer said the No. 1 reason she is a teacher is because she loves working with high school students, and that’s why she has taught for 26 years.

But she said watching her students continuing to progress on their path toward college is what makes her job so rewarding.

“To listen to them, to watch them, to hear them share their pains and sorrows and then their joys and celebrations, and to know that day by day they’re building their confidence and knowing that they can actually make this happen is a really beautiful thing and I’m super, super excited to be a part of it,” Kramer said.
